A Happy (and Healthy) New Year to All
Dear all,
I’m way past due in expressing my sincere gratitude for the outpouring of get well wishes I’ve received over the last few weeks. They have come in various forms, like the great e-card that was signed by many, many people through the L & M’s Eagles Fastlane website, as well as all the touching cards I’ve received via snail mail. I very much appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers regarding my health. But, let me give you a brief update. Although my issues were disheartening, and I went through what the doctors called, “major surgery”, the truth is I was only bedridden during my three night stay in the hospital. I was up and about right after, starting with daily walks on the streets of Manhattan. After another week I received a clean bill of health and headed for home on the west coast. My voice is coming along nicely, and as many of you know, I was able to perform with the Eagles just before the new year. So … All is good. The brief synopsis is: I discovered a problem and took care of it; simple as that.
So, not to worry … I love my work, and plan on doing it for as long as possible. I’m chipping away at a new solo album, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you hear of more Eagles action in the near future.
While I’m at it, I would also like to thank the Feed the Fire group for their generous holiday donation in my name to both the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for Hurricane Sandy and The American Cancer Society.
Again … Thank you all so much for your concern, and for reaching out to me in such a kind and giving manner.
A happy (and healthy) new year to all.
All my best,
Timothy...

Eagles Documentary to Premiere at Sundance

...TBS Tour Blog
I have now been home for five days as of this writing, and I'm just starting to surface from my May / June adventures on the road. Once again, I'd like to thank everyone who came out to experience our show with us. The more TBS shows I do, the more I like it. It's very satisfying to know there are those of you out there who put the time and effort into coming out to see this event. I will now take a little break, then start working on writing and recording. There are only a few Eagles commitments left for the rest of the year so I should be able to make some headway on a new CD.
I hope everyone has a great summer, and I look forward to seeing you in the audience again.
Cheers,
Timothy...

Welcome...
Welcome to the new and improved site... I know it’s been a long time coming and I hope you will find it worth the wait. I’m currently writing from Nashville where I’ll be doing the second show of this mini-tour. At least that’s what it is so far. I’m hoping to be doing even more shows while the Eagles are on hiatus. My first solo show (ever) went very well in Los Angeles and we accomplished what we set out to do: Have some fun. I’m out here with a very cool little band. We’ve only been playing together for under three weeks, but everyone gets what this is all about, and it now feels like we’ve been doing this for a much longer period of time. As I am doing much smaller venues, it’s a totally different animal, and I must say, I’m very much enjoying it. The new album is coming soon now... October 20... and because of that I will be playing most of this new material... Of course, there will be some familiar things scattered here and there as well. I hope, if you’re near by, you’ll be able to come and join in on the festivities, and hopefully, if you can’t make it to one of these shows, I’ll soon be playing somewhere closer... I thoroughly enjoyed the making of this new album... I hope you enjoy listening to it... As always, thank you very much for your continued support ... It is greatly appreciated ...
Timothy

Love the new music! I have been a big fan of your work with both Poco and the Eagles. I am hoping you are going to hit the Denver area so I can see you live. Wouldn't it be fun to do a gig out here and have your friend Richie Furay join you on stage?! I know he lives out here. How cool would that be?!
All the best to you. Love your music and good luck with the tour.
Best regards,
Paul Mathern
So glad to have you back as a soloist after all these years! Can hardly wait to hear the whole album (sounds fantastic so far). Wish you'd come to Toronto - I'm sure we'd fill a smaller venue with really enthusiastic followers. Til then...will wear my T-shirt with pride.
Happy Birthday! and all the best for great success on your Expando adventure (what a great title!)

Yes, this is your own think ...
Southern etiquette doesn't allow first names unless being well acquainted, however, since listening to you since the 70's I suppose I qualify. I don't know if you read this but if you do - Belated Happy Birthday Wishes!! "Expando" is the first solo CD I have mainly due to the availability. This CD is quite musically unique. Your harmony with Graham Nash is beautiful and the song with The Blind Boys of Alabama is wonderful. The lyrics and music to "Melchancoly" is haunting and thought provoking. "Ella Jean" speaks for itself and is sung beautifully. There's not enough room to critique each song but I enjoy the entire CD. Would love to see you live but considering my location probably isn't likely. My 3 year old granddaughter was listening to the CD as we were driving. She asked me if this was the Eagles as this is what I mostly listen to I suppose. To prevent questions I just said "yes" and she continued to sing with you til the CD ended. We are raising another generation of Eagles/Schmit fans!! Still enjoying the picture you took time to send to Wayne and me.
Hope this is not in appropriate but is there a possibility of a DVD of some of "Long Road" coming in the future? I'm about to wear out "Hell Freezes Over" and "Farewell"! Good luck with "Expando" and hope to see you soon.

Your American fans are so lucky, as it is far easier for them to get to your shows..It would be lovely if you could come to Britain or Ireland. Anyway have a well earned vacation.
